This looks just like my Peugeot 206. The damage to the gasket isnt as clear as this video, but same location, as cylinder head bolt had the same crap on it. How did you get all that sticky brown oil/water out? Thats what is worrying me now.

at 0:36 there is a locked clip at this plug , you should place a small screwdriver to unclip it and with no force will get off.

Just doing my daughter's.....there was no gasket left where it sits on the water jacket...on the cyl head there was cavitation damage where water had run from one coolant passage to the next....currently having head skimmed and pressure tested to see if it would remove the damaged areas.....also new gasket has the read sealant facing the block as opposed to cylinder head...this seems to make more sense as it fits around and seals better...

Please give me number of this detail.

Meyle HD breather was making the same noise (made in china) there is small rubber orange valve on top of that and it make those noises, i've changed only membrane and putted it into original valve, problem solved.

My A8L did this all the time even after replacing it. I put some open cell draft excluder into the slot so it could still breath. Never honked again!

not as hard as l thought it would be, the hardest part for me was to get that last coil plug on, about 1/2 an hour of work total : )
